How to get your baby to sleep all night without crying

When you ask a parent how to get their baby to sleep all night, most of them will tell you that it was easy. Those parents happen to be right! It’s actually not that hard. In fact, many parents have trouble getting their baby girl or boy to sleep all night because they are over-stimulated and it is the norm for us as parents to have a lot of noise going on at nighttime with friends, music, television shows, sounds from the street, etc. That is not normal for a baby. We tend to take over the role of the alarm clock, which is really counterproductive.

From ages 0 to 6 months, your little one must get used to sleeping at night without being disturbed by any noise. They must learn how to sleep at night without any noise or light and only when they are tired!

If you have a baby who doesn’t want to sleep during the day, don’t try and force he/her when  they doesn’t want to sleep. Take them to another room and see if they’ll  go there on  there own (if not, then pick them up). If your baby  goes to another room and cries, just ignore it. If you cannot ignore it, then take he/she  back to there original place and let them cry there. In time, they’ll understand that if they  doesn’t sleep during the day, she won’t be able to play with you, which is what your baby wants to do most of all. So in essence, your baby will learn how to fall asleep at naptime without any problems because naptime is important for your baby’s development.

If your baby has trouble settling down at naptime, then try putting a light on near their crib (they don’t have to be in the direct line of sight). You can also put a fan on, but don’t put the fan directly onto your baby or you may get complaints from your little one.

If you have more than one child and you want to get them to sleep all night at the same time, then try giving them milk right before going to bed. Your children will be sleepy and will sleep through the night. Remember that all babies are different and different methods work for different babies… so try out some of these tricks to see what works best for your baby. Good luck!
